Low Water

The reservoir used to have very low water levels at the end of summer. 1989 was a particular stricken year, There was plenty water left to sail in, but there was a band of mud and a steep bank before you could get there. Even Lasers were too heavy to haul through that

More Low Water

A more recent low water year was 2006. Whilst the water did not recede as far, it was a long way out. These pictures have a blue sky. Note the old green club house at the top of the hill, further up than the dinghy park.
