Welcome to Llandegfedd Sailing Club

Llandegfedd Sailing Club works in partnership with Llandegfedd Adventures to help individuals and families to enjoy dinghy sailing on our safe and picturesque reservoir environment. 

If you’re new to water sports and just fancy giving it a go, we can help you get started. Our sport’s governing body, the RYA, has created this video (link to Why not try sailing? page) to help you Discover Sailing and give it a try.

We are an RYA affiliated Training Centre and our RYA qualified volunteer instructors encourage club members to learn to sail and improve their existing sailing skills. Read more About Us

For those who do not own their own boat but can already sail, we have a fleet of adult and junior club boats and members will help you get started via our mentor support scheme.

Sailors are naturally a social bunch, and our club is a community with plenty of opportunities for the whole family, including those who don’t wish to sail, to enjoy the company of like-minded people and make new friends.

Members who do not want to race can enjoy less structured sailing at any time that the Watersports Centre is open. We are fortunate to be able to share the watersports facilities at the lake and socialise in this beautiful setting as well as other local venues.
