Llandegfedd Social

Sailors are naturally a social bunch. Even the most competitive racers enjoy taking time out for a beer and a chat.

The club provides an opportunity for the whole family, including those to old, too young  or unable to sail, to enjoy the company, the Watersports environment and the gossip. It is an opportunity to meet like minded people and make new friends.

We are fortunate to be able to share the Watersports facilities at the Lake and can socialise in this beautiful setting as well as other local venues.

Social Sailing

Members who do not want to race can take the opportunity to enjoy less structured sailing at any time the watersports centre is open. Members must book in with the centre and there may be a fee to pay. Why not arrange something with a small group to enjoy the lake together?

These are wonderful opportunities for parents and children to enjoy the water, for sailors to experiment with boat riggings and adjustments or to try new boats or crew.

If members don't have their own boats, or wish to try a different type of boat, dinghys can be booked from the clubs fleet and you can even book a mentor to help with setting up, rigging and sailing these boats.
