Championship results from 2006 and 2007 The decison had been made to split the overall fleets up into “asymmetric” and “conventional” boats. The defining point is the use of a bowsprit to support a spinnaker/gennaker. Those without it are mostly boats withour spoinnakers (Lasers, Solos etc) and a few boats like the 420 and Lark. To give us an overall club championship we sailed all together in Pursuit races and Wednesday eveings. For other handicap races, the conventional and asymmetric fleets sailed different courses, so that they could each play to their strengths.
