General Data Protection Policy

Llandegfedd Sailing Club aims to conform to the May 2018 General Data Protection Regulations. This web page has the policy itself, and a briefing document with recommendations and guidance for the club. The key points are that we will look after your personal details properly, and prevent the club broadcasting your name/email address etc wherever possible.

The Club uses WebCollect as Data Processors to handle the membership data. This company is GDPR compliant, and is engaged under a contact (with the Club, not individual members). Details of the Data Handling agreement are available at this link WebCollect GDPR agreement

When Social Media is used (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter or similar) this is a voluntary choice for each member. The terms and conditions are those of the hosting organisation, and not Llandegfedd Sailing Club. It is highly probable that at the least your name, and account name or email address will be visible to others.
